How to trade Dogecoin on crypto exchanges
There are several possible sites for trading Dogecoin.
We recommend Binance.com from Malta for Dogecoin trading.
They offer a learning platform on how to buy Dogecoin (How to buy Dogecoin NOW) and many other crypto currencies. You can buy and sell Dogecoin on your mobile, your Iphone and on your desktop. They also offer an option to store your coins “You can store your DOGE safely on your Binance account or on our crypto wallet app Trust Wallet, the most user-friendly and secure mobile wallet.”
While their trading platform looks rather confusing at first and is rather made for expert traders, you can certainly just use it to buy and sell conveniently. Make sure that you have a look at the tutorials on how to trade and make sure that you always KNOW what you are doing. Be aware that you are fully responsible for your trades and subsequent wins and losses.
Binance also gives your full access to your Doge wallet. You can easily buy and transfer Dogecoin to any person in the world (with a wallet of course).
If you are in Europe, we fully recommend Litebit.eu (referral link included) from the Netherlands for Dogecoin trading.
We have been trading and storing our Dogecoins for years with them and have been more than happy with their service. Please note, that Litebit is showing different rates for buying and selling because the buying price already includes their fee and so does the selling price. The average rate between the buying and selling price is the actual rate, so not to be confused when trading with them. All of their prices are in Euro, but the service is absolutely free to use. Be aware that there are strict regulations on cryptos in Europe, so you will have to provide ID, adresses, bank details and also make a registering money transfer (very low amount) to proof your ownership of bank accounts. Altogether, it could take as long as 1 week until you are ready to go. But once you are set up, it is very convenient. You can also download the app, which allows you to buy and sell more than 50 different crypto coins, including Dogecoin, at competitive rates. With their service come wallets for all your cryptos so you can just start sending and receiving cryptos from your Litebit account browser and app. You will have your very own wallet adress.
You can easily add funds to your Litebit.eu account with:
iDEAL is a payment method that is widely used in the Netherlands. iDEAL can be used to pay for orders and link bank accounts. Payments with iDEAL are processed almost immediately.
Bancontact is a payment method that is widely used in Belgium. Bancontact can be used to pay for orders and to link bank accounts. Payments with Bancontact are processed almost immediately.
Mobile 2 app
Are you paying with a Mobile 2 app? The order will unfortunately be delayed. This app does not process data such as name and bank account number. That is why this transaction cannot be linked to your bank account. We therefore advise you not to use the Mobile 2 app.
GiroPay/Sofort are payment methods that are widely used in German-speaking countries. Because we have a Dutch bank account, a GiroPay/Sofort transaction to the Netherlands takes a maximum of three working days. We will immediately process orders with a total up to EUR 1,000 in open payments. You will receive the crypto and we will receive payment later. If you go above this limit of EUR 1000 in open payments, the orders are completed when the payment is received.
SEPA bank transfer
SEPA bank transfer can be used in all SEPA countries. With this payment method, it can take up to three working days before we receive payment.
Do not forget to include the unique payment reference with your transaction. Please note: we will not purchase the ordered crypto until we have received the payment. The ordered crypto will be purchased at a different rate than the one for which you confirmed it.
Do you want to be able to trade directly via SEPA bank transfer? We recommend you purchase LiteBit credits first. These credits can be used to make direct purchases on LiteBit.
Credit card payments are possible with a Visa or Mastercard that is linked to a bank account. A credit card must be secured with 3DS and there is a limit of 1000 euros per payment. It is not possible to pay by prepaid credit card.
Other web services:
Bitpanda from Austria
They do offer a lot of crypto currencies, including Dogecoin and even precious metals like Gold. But their registration process includes video identification and a verification deposit of at least 25 Euros. Many users could like to stay more private.
eToro from Cyprus
They don’t offer Dogecoin and their minimum deposit to start trading is $200. This is probably too much for many first-time investors.
